Yasmeen Abedifard is an Iranian-American artist based in Oakland, California. She holds an MFA from Cornell University. Her work includes comics, art books, illustration, and animation.

Her published comics include When to Pick a Pomegranate, Death Bloom, and Burnt. She received an Ignatz Award for Outstanding Minicomic for Death Bloom and a MoCCA Award of Excellence for When to Pick a Pomegranate.

She teaches at California College of the Arts, Berkeley City College, UC Berkeley Art Studio, and Dominican University.
